The Policy and Regulatory Division of the AASE Institute is dedicated not only to shaping a supportive and forward-looking environment for science-driven entrepreneurship, but also to systematically understanding how policy and regulatory systems determine the success or failure of scientific commercialization. Recognizing that research translation is deeply influenced by policy frameworks, regulatory structures, and strategic ecosystems, the Division operates at the intersection of science, government, and industry to identify the institutional factors that enable scalable innovation.

A core responsibility of the Division is to conduct in-depth research on technology commercialization, innovation policy, regulatory systems, and entrepreneurial ecosystems, with a focus on uncovering the structural determinants of success.
