The AASE Institute's Investment and Resource Connection Division serves as a critical bridge between scientific innovation and the funding and strategic resources needed to bring research findings to market. Recognizing that access to funding and infrastructure is often one of the greatest challenges facing early-stage scientific startups, the division is dedicated to connecting breakthrough research with the investment and partnerships necessary for sustainable growth.

A key responsibility of the division is to actively connect scientists with diverse funding platforms, including venture capital firms, angel investors, corporate partners, and philanthropic foundations. Furthermore, the division provides guidance on government funding programs, such as the National Institutes of Health (NIH), the National Science Foundation (NSF), and the Small Business Innovation Research (SBIR)/Science and Technology Improvement (STTR) programs, ensuring access to the broadest range of funding. By helping scientists understand funding requirements and write compelling proposals, the division increases the likelihood of securing critical support.

Beyond funding, the division also emphasizes resource matching. It connects research projects with incubators, accelerators, contract research organizations, and manufacturing partners who can provide critical services such as regulatory strategy, business development, and product scale-up.
